League Info:
Our leagues start after Thanksgiving each year and run until the end of March. We currently have 3 standard leagues on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in addition to a military league that runs from Jan-Mar on Tuesdays. Our leagues are all open enrollment for men, women, and youth, but we do ask that children not hinder the pace of play and be capable of easily maneuvering a 44lb rock. For this reason we typically recommend ages 12+ in our adult leagues.
Dedicated Youth Curling is entering its 2nd season starting in January of each year. We run registration through Minot Park District in Nov-Dec of each year and hold practices every Sunday for 8 weeks.

Commonly Asked Questions:
Q: I just want to try curling, but don’t want to commit. Can I come down and try it?
A: We hold 1-2 Learn-to-Curls during the year for this purpose. However, if you can arrange it with a club member, feel free to drop on by to one of our Open Ice Nights, dates on the calendar.
Q: Are you open for group rentals?
A: Yes, but we only have a few dates per year that are available. Please email us with the number of people and check our calendar for date options. These rentals are volunteer dependent, so no hard feeling if we can’t make it work.
Q: I want to curl in Adult League, but my friends are turds and won’t commit to a season.
A: Message us frequently and before Thanksgiving, and come to the Open House Nights in November. We always have a few teams that need a player or two. We’ll do our best to place you on a full team or on the pickup player list.
Q: I’m at Minot Air Force Base and want to curl, but have a difficult schedule
A: We highly recommend you try our Air Force Base League on Tuesdays. Check out our MAFB tab for more info.
Q: My friends and I are brand new and want to start a team…any helpful hints?
A: A few things:
1. (4) Curlers are required per team, but it is helpful to have a 5th person on rotation in case someone can’t make it.
2. Show up to as many Open House Nights as you can and ask others for advise. We promise you’ll learn quick.
3. We have novice memberships at a reduced rate.
Q: What league night should we select?
A: Mon, Wed, and Thurs are both of mixed experience levels, with 1-2 draws per night. Mon & Thurs are more ideal for new curlers who don’t want to get overwhelmed, but still offer competitive games with experienced teams. Wednesday typically fills us quickly and has a larger number of experienced teams with 2 draw times. It’s louder, more crowded, and very fun. That said, we often split Wed into an upper and lower league to keep play competitive.
