WINTERFEST BONSPIEL Event Has Concluded

Description:
4-person, modified scoring, 4-end games, 3-game guarantee. Team entry fee includes 2 pitchers and 2 pizzas which will be provided on Friday night or Saturday. Prizes will be given to qualifying teams and the winning team will have their team roster engraved on the Winterfest Trophy. 1st place team will win $500 cash!

The Sunrise Rotary Club, together with the Minot Curling Club, will be hosting the 7th Annual Winterfest Weekend in
Minot. The event was created to increase the quality of life for people in Minot and the surrounding area and provide
an event in the winter for experienced and beginning curlers. The funds raised from this year’s event will support the
Minot Curling Club as they make improvements to their facilities and bring this sport to more people in the area,
which will help support youth activities and quality of life in Minot. Together with your support, we can do even more
for our community!

3RD ANNUAL CURLING FOR THE CURE

Theme: St. Patrick’s Day – Shamrockin’ & Rollin’
Cost: $200 per team
Date: March 17-18, 2023
Schedule of events (will be updated at later date):
3/17: Check-in (5 PM) and first matches at 6PM
3/18: Bracket play starting at 8:45 AM with closing ceremony, dinner, and entertainment in the afternoon/evening


Description: 4-person, 6-end games, 3-game guarantee. Team entry includes 4 drink tickets, team Saturday dinner and entertainment night. Prizes will be awarded to top 4 teams! 16 team maximum

*Non-curlers can come Saturday, March 18th for dinner and entertainment for $40. Payment and entry taken in-person day of (cash and credit card accepted).

A group of ladies from the Minot Curling Club banded together to sanction the Curling for the Cure event focused on raising funds to benefit local cancer care foundations. Proceeds raised from registration and raffle/auction events are donated. This is the 3rd year the event is being held and the 1st time the event is hosted as a formal bonspiel. Come curl on a team or join the non-curling activities to support our local community!

Event Has Concluded
What: We will be hosting an outdoor curling for the general public
When: March 4th & 5th
Yea… but what time?: 12-5PM on Saturday and 12-3PM on Sunday

Description
We are hosting an open house at the Citizens Alley with instruction
in the sport of curling and opportunities as space and time
allow for participants to experience the sport. The event will run
from 12:00-5:00 on Saturday March 4th, with a follow up session
from 12:00-3:00 Sunday March 5th . Aksal group will provision the
rink and handling prepping the ice surface to include curling “hacks”
and “house”. Bismarck Outdoor Curling group will provide the outdoor curling rocks. Blue Rider bar will facilitate a cash bar for adult participants. We will provide the volunteers for instruction and facilitating event, curling equipment, ice maintenance, warming houses, and serve as the event coordinators. Event will be offered free of charge to the public, with the purpose of promoting curling the Minot area.



Minot Curling Club Summer Golf Social – Event Has Concluded
 

Registration is open for our annual Summer Golf Social. This is a fun event where we play 9 holes of golf in a scramble format followed by dinner and an awards ceremony. No golf experience is necessary and the Star City golf course has clubs to rent if you don’t own a set, sharing a set with your friend is also allowed. 

Please note the event is usually on a Tuesday, but we had to move to Thursday June 22nd this year. 


Where: Velva Star City Golf Course
When: Thursday June 22nd, Registration opens at 4:00, Tee off at 5:15
What: 9 Hole Scramble with Dinner following
Who: Teams of 4 made up of any curler or friends
Cost: $50 per person includes green fees and dinner, Cart rental not included.
Prizes: Fabulous beyond your wildest dreams as always
